Express Entry

Express Entry (EE) has been launched in 2015 and one of the most popular online system program in Canada. Express Entry manages applications for three economic immigration programs and you must be qualified for one of three programs.

 

A. Federal Skilled Program
B. Federal Skilled Trade Program
C. Canadian Experience Class

If you are eligible one of three programs, you will be accepted into the pool of candidates. You will be ranked in the EE pool using a points-based system and your score is based on your information.  

 

IRCC sends invitation to apply to the candidates with the highest scores in the pool. If you receive the invitation letter, you will have 60 days to submit your application for permanent residence.

A. Federal Skilled Program

  1. Skilled work experience at least 1 year in the job position skilled level 0, A, or B within 10 years.
  2. English level of CLB 7 in all 4 abilities.
  3. Pass mark 67 out of 100 based on the 6 factors. 

B. Federal Skilled Trade Program

  1. At least 2 years work experience within the 5 years under certain groups of the NOC.
  2. The minimum score of English, CLB 5 for speaking and listening, and CLB 4 for reading and writing.

C. Canadian Experience Class

  1. At least 1 year of skilled work experience in Canada in the last 3 years. 
  2. CLB 7 for NOC 0, or A jobs OR CLB 5 for NOC B jobs.
